Higher health insurance costs loom for employees who fail to meet goals according to the March 30th article in the Des Moines Register. See attached. According to Towers Watson, a global consulting firm, the number of companies who give out penalties or rewards based on biometrics outcomes is on the rise:

    • 2013
    • Penalize non-participation in health programs
    • 20%
    • 22%
    • Reward or penalize based on biometric outcomes
    • 10%
    • 23%
